Project Description: Currently ongoing project where EBS is cutting out and re-caulking 35,000 LF of existing sealant in Dbl-T sandwich slab parking deck with new backer rod and urethane sealants. This project had to be completed in sections to allow for full operation of the parking deck while project was ongoing. A tremendous amount of work went into this project to protect the cars still utilizing the deck and to protect employees from traffic. This project was two floors on two different parking decks - planning and logistics were a force to be managed.

Special attention had to be paid to the arch over the front doors and the intricate details of the historic brick in all specialized locations including the inset windows flanking the front doors.

After removing old mortar and replacing with new, the facility was pressure washed and a clear sealer was applied to prevent water intrusion in the future.

Started the work on the lower elevation. Rigged the building with Swing Stages. Trimmed the gaskets between the glass and metal framing and caulked with silicone caulk. Removed the perimeter sealant around the Curtain Wall and the windows and replaced with new sealant. Removed and installed the new silspan at the joints in the EIFS. Power Washed all the walls and coated with an elastomeric coating. The same sequence was done at the upper elevation.
